Quartz is the most popular choice for wand tips, apart from looking great, quartz is one of the few minerals that is able to tuned into a specific purpose and able to be charged for almost any need.

It is important to remember that bigger isn't always better in terms of wand tips, usually the longer the mineral selected the thicker the wand body needs to be to accomodate it.
